Police ask public for help identifying ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect in aggravated robbery.



The Stephenville Police Department has released a photo of a suspect in an aggravated robbery Sunday night at Wranglers on Lingleville Road.


An employee told police that a male suspect entered the store about 10 p.m., displayed a handgun, and forced the employee to open the register.

The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.


He is described as an older, short, black male, wearing all black, including gloves, a face covering and sunglasses.

“Our officers are pursuing various leads to help identify this dangerous criminal,” a press release from the SPD states. “The subject is considered armed and dangerous.”
