Pickers and Poets, the popular song-swap series hosted by Craig Clifford, is making its fall return from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Chapel on the Bosque, located on the grounds of the Stephenville Historical House Museum.
Clifford describes the series as a combination of featuring the best local talent and some of the best Texas singer-songwriters from other parts of the state like Courtney Patton, Jon Young, Presley Haile, Nick Brumley, Race Ricketts, Walt Wilkins, Michael Hearne, Adam Carroll, Houston Marchman, and Shake Russell.
Sunday’s performance will feature local songwriter Buck Fuffalo.
On Dec. 7, Pickers and Poets will feature Susan Gibson, who wrote the Dixie Chicks’ No. 1 hit song, “Wide Open Spaces.”
