Order your box of Hurts Donuts and help this local women’s group raise money for scholarships.

Admit it, you could use a donut right now.

And that’s why we can all get excited about the latest fundraiser benefiting Cross Timbers Business and Professional Women.

The group is now taking orders for those famously delicious Hurts Donuts.

If you are unfamiliar with these treats, let me explain: There are over 70 varieties of oversized specialty donuts to choose from, each one beautifully decorated with unique names like the Cookie Monster, Andes Mint, Oreo Cheesecake, Blueberry Streusel, Samoa, Fruity Pebbles and Cotton Candy.

And then there are those famous maple bacon bars (sold individually.)

Calling itself “the rebel of all donuts,” the company says every unique creation is a “love letter” to its customers.

The cost is $25 per dozen or $6 per bar.

Presale orders are underway now through Nov. 12.

You can pick up your order at Citizens National Bank in Stephenville on Friday, Nov. 19.

Delivery is also available for a $2 fee.

Proceeds benefit the BPW’s scholarship fund, so placing an order is a win-win for everyone.
