If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to get rid of those old tires, your chance is coming.
Erath County is hosting a free tire disposal event beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at 1075 Glen Rose Road in Stephenville.
The event will end when the trailer collecting the tires is full.
Please note that only passenger and truck tires will be accepted.
No rims or farm tractor tires will be allowed.
Additionally, residents must show proof of residency to participate.
