The interest in UFOs has only grown stronger in the years since a slew of strange sightings landed in Erath County back in 2008.

Surely you remember.

Last week, Congress held a public hearing on UFOs for the first time in 50 years and now NBC Peacock is working on a possible series on the subject.

Part of the focus of that series will include what went down in Erath County all those years ago.

Mary Mapes with NBC Peacock contacted me last week to ask if I’d be up for an interview about what it was like leading a newsroom during the time when the story first broke.

She said the production crew is looking for resident to discuss all angles of the sightings.

“We want to talk to people who saw the UFOs and people who can tell us what it was like to live in the town during that time,” Mary said.

They even want to hear from you skeptics out there.

If you’re willing to talk about what you saw, know or remember back in 2008, head to the Erath County Courthouse for a town hall meeting with NBC Peacock at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25.
