My obsession is burning bright with Cheerful Heart’s new candles. Think sweet tea and lemonade.

I’m a candle-burner.

And when I say “candle-burner,” I mean I’m a serious candle-burner.

I cook, watch TV, read, bathe and write by candlelight every single day. It’s a little obsession of mine. There’s just something about that little flicker of fire that calms me down and makes me happy.

I switch out my scented candles for every season, which is why I stopped by Cheerful Heart on Monday; it was time for new spring scents.

And I was thrilled with what I found. Cheerful Heart is now carrying a line of scented magic I fell in love with last year.

My first Porch View Home candle – Havana – now sits in my living room, giving off a light, masculine scent and just the right amount of glow every evening after dinner.

My three new favorites by Porch View Home include Southern Sweet Tea, Lemonade Stand and Veranda, a beautiful floral blend that will make you want to sip mint juleps on a wrap-around porch.

Each candle sells for $24.99 and comes in a cute wicker container (so they look great on patios as well.)

The light scents aren’t headache-inducing and the wicks burn slow, making them perfect for everyday use.

There are, of course, other great scents like Glady’s Recipe (think grandma’s nostalgic baking spice blend), Citrus Hills (the scent of tree-ripened grapefruit, oranges and lemons), Tillage (imagine a farmhouse surrounded by freshly-tilled fields) and Lemon and Blueberry Pound Cake.)

And Cheerful Heart has them all.

You should check it out!

WHILE YOU’RE THERE…

Cheerful Heart is full of great home décor, clothing and gourmet specialty items, but one of my favorite things is its line of Farmhouse Fresh products, particularly the moisturizing bath fizzers.

Drop a one-ounce fizzer into your evening bath and sink into a bubbling concoction of vitamin E and coconut oil that will leave your skin feeling silky smooth.

It is the best way to end the day and I will soak until my toes turn into raisins.

The spring line comes in relaxing fragrances like cucumber fresca, apricot nectar, sparkling passion fruit, crisp champagne and watermelon basil.

Small fizzers are $2.99 and the large ones are $9.
