Mother’s Day is almost here and she will love these last-minute gift ideas.

I purchased this beautiful bouquet from Scott's Flowers this week and there is still time place an order for your mom.

I was doing a little shopping in downtown Stephenville on Wednesday and stopped by Scott’s Flowers on the Square to pick up a gift.

While I was there, I couldn’t help but notice all of the fresh bouquets they have for Mother’s Day.

I decided that it wasn’t too early to begin celebrating my mom, so I purchased a vase of colorful spring flowers and delivered them to her that evening. (It made her day!)

But some of you, I know, are procrastinators who still haven’t purchased a gift or made plans to make mom feel special on Sunday.

That’s why I’m offering you a little help.

I’ve put together a list of local ideas I bet your mom will love!

And by the way, it’s not too late to place an order for flowers at Scott’s.

THE GIFT OF BEAUTY

Mom likes to look good, but let’s face it, she spends a lot of time taking care of you and the rest of the family, leaving little time for herself.

So why not pamper her?

Pure Image is offering a special deal for moms this week that includes a HydraFacial for $150 and microneedling session for $199.

Those are some seriously great deals and I bet you will get a big hug if you give her a gift certificate for one (or both).

HOW ABOUT A FREE TAN?

Tahiti Tan is honoring moms in an exceptional way this weekend by offering free and reduced prices on its most popular services.

Moms can get a UV tan and red light collagen therapy treatment for free and 50% off a Versa Spray Tan on Saturday and Sunday.

(Yeah, I know. I couldn’t believe it either.)

In fact, I was so astounded when I got the text about the special that I called Tahiti Tan’s owner Kayla Vanden Berge (who is also my sister-in-law) and asked if I had read it correctly.

“You’re offering free tanning and red light therapy to moms this weekend?”

Her answer: “I sure am.”

And you don’t even need an appointment.

ENJOY AN AFTERNOON AT LUCKY VINES

Wine and dine your mom during a special Mother’s Day celebration at Lucky Vines Vineyard & Winery from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday.

Enjoy live music from 2-5 p.m. and $10 wine tastings all afternoon.

Wine by the glass or bottle and all merchandise will be 20% off.

Sunday’s weather is expected to be picture-prefect and I just know that mom would love to sit on that gorgeous patio overlooking the vineyard at Lucky Vines and sip delicious wine while you tell her all about the things you’ve been up to.

Oh, and did I mention that sangria is back at Lucky Vines?

Because it is.

Ulta in Stephenville carries Versace's Yellow Diamond and it smells pretty dang good.

EVERYONE LOVES A MOM WHO SMELLS GOOD

I finally had a chance this week to check out Ulta Beauty in Washington Commons.

I’ve been waiting for the retailer to open for more than a year and shopping there was like a dream.

I stocked up on my favorite lip gloss by Kylie Jenner (don’t judge me, that stuff is good), primer, and eyebrow tint.

If your mom likes to smell good (and of course she does!) you might want to consider splurging on a nice bottle of perfume.

Ulta carries high-end bottles by Versace, Miss Dior, Gucci, Coach and Philosophy and others that are not quite as expensive.

Take a little time to sniff out something you know she will love and wrap it up with a pretty bow!

And remember: The most important thing you can do for mom on Sunday is to tell her how much you love and appreciate her.
