More skimmers found at local gas pumps; police are investigating.

The Stephenville Police Department is investigating a report made Tuesday that electronic skimming devices had been located in two gas pumps at Junction gas station located at 721 E. Road.

The skimmer was found on one pump, and the pump was last inspected two weeks ago, according to a press release from the SPD.

“We have not received any reports of fraudulent charges from this business,” the release states. “The technician and store employees contacted police immediately and are cooperating in the investigation.”
