Mobile IV therapy arrives in Stephenville and this registered nurse will travel to your home.

Updated: Apr 10, 2022

As a Hydra-STAT technician, Angela Donley will travel to your home or office to give you the treatment you need.

The growing popularity of mobile IV therapy has exploded in large cities across the country and now the treatment is available in Erath County.

Angela Donley is a registered nurse who has worked in labor and delivery for seven years. She recently signed on as a technician with Hydra-STAT IV Therapy Solutions and will travel to your home or business to administer the treatment you need.

“IV therapy is very popular in large, major cities and we have not had anything like this in Erath County until now,” Angela told Beneath the Surface News. “It’s great because I will come to you so you don’t have to go to a clinic and wait with a bunch of sick people.

“I schedule you at a certain time and I see you at that time.”

Hydra-STAT offers a variety of IV therapies aimed at alleviating headache, nausea, body aches and dehydration.

(I have friends who swear by it.)

“We offer treatments for pregnant women dealing with nausea, sports-related dehydration and hangovers,” Angela said. “There is even a COVID cocktail. I gave my first one on Sunday and an hour later the patient texted me and said that her appetite had already come back.”

Complete Plus is one of the most popular packages and includes a combination of multi-vitamins and an energy booster.

“It’s very popular, especially among people who are trying to stay well,” Angela said. “It’s a little more expensive, but it’s worth it. It’s a good investment in your health.”

Each therapy takes between 30 minutes to one hour to administer.

Packages start at $125. Hydra-STAT does not take insurance, but the company does accept cash, credit and HSA (healthcare savings account).

“What I love about Hydra-STAT is that four medical professionals – two OBGYNs, a nurse practitioner and an EMT/paramedic - own and operate the company,” Angela said. “I will travel anywhere in Erath County to see patients as well as surrounding areas like Weatherford and Lipan.”

She will even make early morning and late evening house calls.

You can schedule an appointment by calling Angela at 210-730-3788.

“I’m excited to get the opportunity to serve my community in this way,” she said. “Helping people feel better is what I love to do.”
