For more than three decades, the United Methodist Women have hosted a baked potato luncheon to raise money for various causes that benefit underserved children in Erath County.
Proceeds from this year’s lunch will benefit Backpack Buddies, Tree House Afterschool Program, Love Thy Neighbor and St Luke’s Food Pantry.
The lunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the fellowship hall at Stephenville’s First United Methodist Church.
You can order a jumbo baked potato with all the fixings (cheese, chili, butter and sour cream), carrots and dessert for $12.
Place an order for delivery or pickup by clicking here.
Delivery orders must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 2.

This is a wonderful initiative that shows how simple community events can make a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved children. The idea of organizing an annual baked potato lunch to support programs like school supplies and after-school activities is inspiring and highlights the power of collective effort. Events like these demonstrate how small contributions can come together to create lasting educational support for children.
In a similar way, education support also plays an important role in shaping students’ futures. Many students today look for reliable guidance from sources like Education Vibes while exploring opportunities through Study Abroad Consultants in Pune, as proper direction can help them achieve their academic goals.
