It’s time to shine the boots and dust off those hats, Rodeo Heritage Week is underway and the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo kicks off Friday at the fairgrounds.
One of the most exciting events of the week – The Show – happens Tuesday and I can hardly wait!
This sold-out event features local women modeling the hottest looks of the season from Erath County boutiques.
It’s so much fun and if you don’t have a ticket, you should be sad.
If you do have a ticket and want to make sure you look your best, head to Chick Elms Grand Entry in Stephenville.
From Western-style clothing and turquoise jewelry to purses, boots and hats, this family-owned business has everything you need to get through the busy week.
(They also have rodeo tickets for sale so that’s a bonus.)
Chick Elms is celebrating the week with a slew of discounts you don’t want to miss.
On Monday, Sept. 23, you can save 10% off all coats and jackets.
Save 10% off belts, handbags and jewelry on Tuesday, 10% off all jeans (or buy 2, get 1 half off or buy 3, get a pair free) on Wednesday, 10% off straw hats and caps on Thursday, 10% off jeans and shirts on Friday and 10-50% off boots on Saturday.
An additional 10% off will apply to pastors and teachers on Monday, military and veterans on Tuesday, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders on Wednesday, Tarleton students and faculty on Thursday, doctors, nurses and elected officials on Friday and senior citizens over the age of 65 on Saturday.
