I love green bean casserole.

You know the one made with soup and crispy fried onions everyone loves to hate at Thanksgiving?

Well, I make the delicious concoction all season long because having it only on turkey day just isn’t enough.

I discovered this delicious twist on my favorite side last week on TikTok and couldn’t wait to make it.

It’s simple and super tasty!

The following is the full recipe, but I cut it in half when I made it for two.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED

5 cans cut green beans

Pound bacon, cooked

Crispy fried onions

MIX

½ stick cup butter

2/3 cup brown sugar (I think you can use less)

7 tsp. soy sauce (I used low sodium)

Garlic powder

Pepper (don’t add salt)

Place green beans and chopped bacon into baking dish.

Mix butter, soy sauce, garlic powder and pepper; pour over the top and mix well.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until heated through.

Top with fried onions and bake for additional 15 minutes.
