I fell in love with this week’s cat and already adopted her, but this sweet boy still needs a home.
The minute Erath County Humane Society executive director Serena Wright emailed me this week’s featured pets, I knew Indie would be mine.
This sweet female cat was scared at the shelter and spent most of her days hiding.
She was a stray who landed at the shelter in February with a scar near her left eye she likely sustained as a baby. She is blind in that same eye, but one look at her and I knew her forever home was with me.
Indie is now hiding in the furthest corner of her new home, so I am giving her the time and space she needs to adjust, but more on her adoption later because Constantine still needs a family.
This one-year-old adorable lab mix is one of the most lovable dogs you will ever meet.
“Constantine loves meeting new people and is great with children,” Serena said. “He gets along well with other dogs and livestock and is housebroken and kennel trained.
"He is very playful when outside, but is calm indoors."
Constantine walks well on a leash and enjoys riding in cars.
“He loves cuddling in bed, but does have a tendency to jump on people,” she said.
Constantine is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
