Stephenville will kick off the holiday season with a festive event happening on Thanksgiving weekend.
The city’s annual Christmasville will be held in downtown Stephenville on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Bring the family for a full day of holiday cheer with horse-drawn carriage rides, Rudolph’s chili cookoff (click here to sign up), live music, progressive bingo and the annual lighted Christmas parade (to participate, click here).
Santa and Mrs. Clause will also be in town for photos.
Here’s a look at what’s happening:

10 a.m. – In-store activities begin

10:30 a.m. - Live music begins and progressive bingo starts

10:45 a.m. - Chili teams begin cooking

12:30 p.m. - Carriage rides begin

2 p.m. - CTFAC holiday sweater contest

4 p.m. - Parade lineup starts at City Park
Â
4:30 p.m. - Chili contest and bingo winners announced

6 p.m. - Lighted Christmas parade begins, followed by the official tree lighting and fireworks.
