Here’s how Erath County is coordinating fire relief efforts for communities in need.

The Erath County Sheriff’s is coordinating wildfire relief efforts for Eastland County.


A press release issued by the department asks residents not to travel to Eastland to offer help or take donations.



“We will be coordinating the donation deliveries to Eastland County,” Captain Ben Moore said. “A drop off location has been set up in the rear parking lot of the Erath County Sheriff’s Office.”


A white cargo trailer is collecting water, gatorade, socks, white T-shirts, snacks and baby wipes.

Gift cards are also being accepted.


If you choose to donate, please contact the Sheriff’s office at 254-965-3338 or 254-965-3318 and someone will meet you to help you unload items.


More ways to help fire relief efforts:


Erath County 4-H students are collecting donations of water, Gatorade and snacks for firefighters.


Farmers Insurance – Leslie Walker Agency at 155 N. Graham Street in Stephenville and Lucky Vines Vineyard are also serving as drop-off locations.
