Grammy-award winning country music artist Ricky Skaggs coming to Stephenville City Park this week.

The finale of the city’s Concerts in the Park series is a country music icon we’ve all been waiting for - Ricky Skaggs.
The show will begin on Thursday with a performance by Davin James at 7:30 p.m. followed by Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder at 8:15 p.m. at Birdsong Amphitheater at Stephenville City Park.
Admission is free; all you have to bring are chairs, a cooler of snacks and drinks and your friends.
With hits like Crying My Heart Over You and Don’t Get Above Your Raising, Skaggs is well-known for the mandolin, which he began playing more than 50 years ago.
The multi-award Grammy winner was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2018.
