Golf with friends, raise money for the Stephenville Education Foundation. It doesn’t get any better.
A weekend of fun is planned for Aug. 7-8 when Howdy Enterprise hosts a two-day event at Legends Country Club to raise money for the Stephenville Education Foundation.
Howdy Fest will kick off Friday with a concert by the Huser Brother Band, food, drinks, a driving range contest and live auction.
Saturday will include a golf tournament (3-person team/$300) and silent auction. Lunch will be provided.
“We hope to take Howdy Fest to other communities in the years to come,” said event organizer Brandon Sommerfeld. “We just chose to do the first one here in Stephenville.”
There are five levels of sponsorship: Yellow Jacket/$5,000, Platinum/$2,000, Gold/$1,000, Silver/$500 and Bronze/$100.
