There will be no shortage of fun this weekend when the city of Stephenville’s Main Street Program hosts its Farmer & Artisan Market from 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, June 7, at the downtown plaza.

There will be home grown fruits and vegetables, baked treats, handmade soaps, candles and other artisan goods available for sale as well as live music by Cate Gartner.

And don’t forget that Moo-La Fest kicks off Thursday at Stephenville City Park with Carnival Americana open from 4-11 p.m. and live music by Scott Kirby and the Marshall Tucker Band from 7-10 p.m.

Moo-ve It, a 5K and one-mile fun run, will begin at 6.

The excitement will continue Friday with the carnival midway opening at 4 along with ax throwing, mini golf tournaments and food, artisan and alcohol vendors.

Alyee Whitworth, manager of the city’s Tourism and Visitor’s Bureau, said Saturday’s fun will include a mobile dairy classroom, butt sketch artist and mutton bustin’ beginning at 6 p.m.
