Erath County sees big drop in number of new and active cases of Covid-19.

Erath County officials on Tuesday issued the latest report on Covid-19, showing a big drop in the number of new and active cases across the area.

According to the report, only 34 new cases were diagnosed between Oct. 4-10, bringing the number of active cases down to 82.

Of those active cases, 29 are in Stephenville, 16 in Dublin and 37 in the county.

There are currently 11 local hospitalizations.
