Erath County Courthouse

Free rapid testing for COVID-19 is no longer being offered at the Erath County Courthouse, officials announced on Monday.

“The county will not be doing testing in Stephenville nor at the courthouse until further notice,” emergency management coordinator Cyndi Smith stated in a press release. “Please do not enter the courthouse if you feel you may be ill.”

The following locations will now offer free testing and do not require an appointment. Tests will be administered on a first-come basis.

TUESDAY, JAN. 25: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Lingleville Volunteer Fire Department.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 26: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Morgan Mill Community Center .

THURSDAY, JAN. 27: 1-5 p.m. at the Dublin Community Building. (The building is located between First National Bank and Dairy Queen. You will enter at the back of the building.)

A driver’s license is required to be tested.

Those without a DL (including children) will be required to give their full name, date of birth, race and address. An email address and phone number will also be required.

Once the test is performed, patients will be entered into a database and will receive a link by text and email to open the report within two hours of testing.
