An Erath County man has been arrested on drug charges after investigators seized eight grams of cocaine.

Devan Hernandez was taken into custody on Wednesday when the county’s joint narcotics unit conducted an investigation into illegal drug activity in the 2200 block of Lingleville Road, according to a press release from the Erath County Sheriff’s Office.

Hernandez, who also had outstanding class c warrants, was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Erath County Jail and released after posting a $25,000 bond.

The case has been forwarded to the Erath County District Attorney’s Office.
