Erath County grand jury indicts Dublin man for possession of child pornography.

An Erath County grand jury on Thursday indicted a Dublin man for possession of child pornography.

Julian Robert Morris was arrested Aug. 2 and held at the Erath County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

“In July our agency received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children,” said Dublin Police Chief Cameron Ray. “Detective Nanci Wilson, Officer Kristi Bonilla and I are part of the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

“We then began an investigation that led to a search warrant being executed and Morris was found to be in possession of child pornography. We are still conducting forensic searches of electronic devices to determine the exact number of images he possessed.”

According to the arrest affidavit obtained by Beneath the Surface News, Morris had sexually explicit videos and images of underage girls on his cell phone and computer.
