ENDORSEMENT: Why Ben McCleery is a solid choice for SISD board of trustees.

Please consider this document as a letter of reference for Ben McCleery in support of his candidacy for Stephenville ISD School Board.
I have known Mr. McCleery for the past 14 years since I moved to Stephenville to serve at Tarleton State University. Moreover, my wife and I have one son who completed his high school degree at Stephenville High School in preparation for his university studies.
I am more than pleased to serve as a reference of such a solid candidate. There is no better individual that I can back for service to Stephenville schools.
Ben and Kris McCleery supported their children through the local school system and his daughter grew to become a professional educator. She learned this profession from her mother, Ben’s wife Kris, also an educator.
As a graduate of Stephenville schools as well as of Tarleton State University, Ben possesses a firm background in and around local educational institutions and educators. Therefore, Ben is close to the needs and challenges of our local educational system.
His knowledge of local schools is only the foundation of his worthiness as a school board member. Ben McCleery has a background of hard work that he learned as a youth growing up in agriculture.
I can testify to the fact that when a job needs done, Ben is the first with a shovel, mop or tape measure. I can only imagine how our teachers and students will progress when a hard-working individual with a solid knowledge of educational structure is part of the decision-making process.
Finally, I am in full support of Ben McCleery because I trust Ben McCleery to do the right thing, make the right decision, and support the best practices for our educators and students.
One glance at his resume and background tells a complete story of a man who can make a sound decision with solid ethics and a high view of morality.
I have served with Ben in the Church and community for over a decade and I can honestly say that I have learned more, served more and worked harder because of his leadership, professionalism and friendship.
I hope you can read from this letter that I am a great fan of Ben McCleery and I look forward to the great initiatives he can achieve and support as a representative of our community.
