Delizioso! Chef Newton unveils menu for Saturday’s Italian popup dinner.
Updated: Sep 29, 2020

How does a warm bowl of handmade pasta stuffed with succulent lobster and topped with a cream beurre blanc sauce sound?
If you answer, “delizioso!” you should make plans to attend Chef Mike Newton’s Italian dinner Saturday at The Cellar in Stephenville.
The cowboy chef is hosting his third popup event (there will be one more before his restaurant, Newton’s Cellar, officially opens Nov. 1.)

Saturday’s dinner begins with that lobster ravioli I told you about, followed by an
arugula salad and a main course featuring osso buco (slow-braised veal shanks), risotto and fresh green beans with garlic, red pepper and toasted pine nuts.
Watch your calories that day because limoncello tiramisu will be served for dessert.
The four-course meal includes wine and a special liqueur that will be served with dessert, but guests are invited to bring their own wine as well.
Cost per person is $125 and reservations can be made at cowboychefnewton.com. Only a limited number of seats are available.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktail hour and dinner service begins at 7 p.m.
