Dancing for the Stars is boogying its way to a new venue. And you are going to love it.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County’s biggest event of the year - Dancing for the Stars – is set to take stage at a new venue this year.
“BBBS has loved every year our event has been at the beautiful TSU Ballrooms. They have served us well and helped us grow Dancing for the Stars to what it is today,” said BBBS executive director Sara Weaver. “This year, due to COVID-19, we feel an outdoor venue is just what we need. We are excited to announce that our 2020 venue is Lone Star Arena. They have been a true joy to work with and we cannot wait to see what this year holds.”
The “Love Boat” themed event will take place Nov. 19 and sponsorships are still available.
“We still have two platinum up for grabs at $3,500 each and one gold at $2,500,” Weaver said.
Sponsorships include dinner, VIP parking, open bar and ground floor seating.
The new venue also allows for additional seating and ticket prices have changed.
Premier: $50 per ticket with first-tier arena seating. This will come with your charitable donation to the show and two drink coupons.
General: $35 per ticket. This comes with two drink coupons and will be open seating in the arena.
This year’s teams include Jake and Brooke Smith, Dustin Goates andKelsey Turner, Amauri and Barbra Martinez, Brandon and Katie Smith and Justin and Katie Burr.
