Cowboy Chef Newton takes 2nd in Supermarket Stakeout. And boy was that fun to watch!

Lipan resident Mike Newton, known by his fans as the “cowboy chef,” took 2nd place in Tuesday night’s episode of Supermarket Stakeout.

Newton made it to the final round which called for him to make a dessert from items he purchased from unsuspecting shoppers.


“It was a fun, fun time,” Newton said about the filming that took place in Arizona in January.

Supermarket Stakeout is televised on the Food Network.

Newton became famous after appearing on season 8 of MasterChef.
