City of Stephenville partners with Tarleton to host TexanVille Kids Camp. Here’s how to register.

The end of another school year is just around the corner and the city of Stephenville is helping parents avoid hearing those two dreaded words: “I’m bored.”

 

The city has partnered with Tarleton State to host TexanVille Kids Camp at the university’s Recreation Center.

The camp is for kids six to 12 years old and includes a slew of fun activities like field trips, swimming and rock climbing.

 

Each five-day camp is held from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on the following dates:

 

• June 3-7

 

• June 10-14

 

• June 17-21 (NO CAMP June 19 in observance of Juneteenth)

• June 24-28

 

• No camp July 1-5

 

• July 8-12

 

• July 15-19

 

• July 22-26

 

• July 29-Aug. 2

You do not have to register for all weeks to attend. The cost is $150 per week.

 

Register by clicking here, but do so by May 20 to guarantee shirt size.

 

A chance to meet the camp counselors will be held at 6 p.m. May 30 at Tarleton’s Recreation Center.
