The end of another school year is just around the corner and the city of Stephenville is helping parents avoid hearing those two dreaded words: “I’m bored.”
The city has partnered with Tarleton State to host TexanVille Kids Camp at the university’s Recreation Center.
The camp is for kids six to 12 years old and includes a slew of fun activities like field trips, swimming and rock climbing.
Each five-day camp is held from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on the following dates:
• June 3-7
• June 10-14
• June 17-21 (NO CAMP June 19 in observance of Juneteenth)
• June 24-28
• No camp July 1-5
• July 8-12
• July 15-19
• July 22-26
• July 29-Aug. 2
You do not have to register for all weeks to attend. The cost is $150 per week.
Register by clicking here, but do so by May 20 to guarantee shirt size.
A chance to meet the camp counselors will be held at 6 p.m. May 30 at Tarleton’s Recreation Center.
