Chamber of Commerce now taking applications for its 2025-26 Leadership Stephenville program.

It’s been about 17 years since I completed the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce’s leadership program.

I was part of the Leadership Stephenville Class of 2008 and little did I know that my participation would end with tons of happy memories, lasting friendships and valuable information that would serve me well in my career as a journalist.

Leadership Stephenville is a program sponsored by the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce that challenges participants to make a difference in their community while preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Participants take part in nine full-day sessions focused on developing leadership skills and gaining a better understanding of local infrastructure, city government and volunteer associations. 

Each class works together on a project that will benefit the community.

Taking part in Leadership Stephenville was one of the most worthwhile experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t encourage you enough to apply.

The Chamber is now accepting applications for its 2025-2026 class. 

The deadline to apply is July 29.
