The Cowboy Capital of the World Pro Rodeo is gearing up for its annual 5K and one-mile fun run beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Stephenville City Park.
The event raises money for the Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo royalty and runners can expect to see current royalty and this year’s queen contestants taking entries, passing out runner’s bags and cheering on finishers as they cross the finish line.
Medals in multiple age groups will be awarded as well as trophy belt buckles to the top male and female finishers.
The cost is $30 to enter the 5K, $20 for the one-mile and includes a T-shirt.
The deadline to register is Monday, Sept. 5, and you can do so by clicking here.
Walkup entries will be taken on race day, but it will cost you $5 more to enter.
