Boy’s lemonade stand will benefit Foster’s Home for Children. And there will be cookies too.
There is perhaps nothing sweeter than a young boy’s sense of community and determination to help others.
Except, of course, lemonade and homemade chocolate chip cookies; those are pretty sweet too, especially on a hot summer day.
From 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, young Jaxon Stone will run an old-fashioned lemonade stand in the parking lot of Casseroles To-Go (on Harbin Street).
Jaxon is the son of Shawn and Ashley Stone.
The treats are free, but donations are accepted and the money raised will be donated to Foster’s Home for Children.
