Beneath the Book Club: Lucy Clarke’s One of the Girls was an angsty mystery I couldn’t tear myself away from.

July’s book of the month was the first time I had read anything by Lucy Clarke, but it won’t be the last.

One of the Girls is an angsty mystery that has all the things I love: A weekend getaway at a sun-soaked Greek island, girl time in the form of a bachelorette trip and drama.

Lots and lots of drama.

The vacation for these six friends was too good to be true.

Sunset swims, midnight cocktails and a swirl of secrets meant one person wouldn’t leave the island alive.

I loved every second of it.
