With fall officially underway and Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to curl up with a good book that will give you goosebumps.
I’ve got three spooky reads Beneath the Book Clubbers will pick for our October book.
Here they are:

1. Ask for Andrea by Noelle West
4.1 on Goodreads, best of #BookTok
“Hands down, one of my favorite reads of the year!" – author Freida McFadden
WHAT GOODREAD SAYS: “Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common.
“They were all murdered by the same man.“He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves.
“He’s gotten away with murder three times now.
“The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered.
“Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. And they won’t rest until they find a way to stop him.
“The haunt is on.”

2. Salem’s Fall by Rektok Ross
3.9 on Goodreads, #1 best seller in occult suspense
WHAT GOODREAD SAYS: “A hotshot young attorney. An enigmatic billionaire accused of murder. To uncover the truth, she’ll have to play his game - and try not to fall in love with the devil.
“James Woodsen is used to being underestimated.
“Top of her class at Harvard Law, she’s brilliant, beautiful, and now the youngest female associate at Boston’s most elite criminal defense firm.
“But after a devastating misstep on her first case, she has one last shot at redemption.
“Her assignment?
“Defend Damien Blackhollow — a dangerously charming billionaire accused of murdering his fiancée.
“When James follows the trail to a small New England town with a dark history, she realizes this case is far more twisted than she ever imagined.
“Alone in Salem’s Fall with her trusted black cat, she uncovers Damien’s haunting family legacy with ties to a secret society and a pattern of ritualistic murders.
“James begins to wonder if she's defending a monster... or worse, falling for one.
"As Halloween looms and the bodies pile up, James fears that losing this case doesn't just mean her career—it means her life.”

3. Trick or Treat by Katerina Diamond
4.3 on Goodreads
WHAT GOODREAD SAYS: “When six-year-old Marcus is taken from outside his house on Halloween it shakes his quiet neighborhood to the core.
“Everyone was ready for a night of trick-or-treating.
"Now the unthinkable has happened.
"As Detective Imogen Grey arrives to question Marcus’s parents, they tell her there has been a mistake. Their son is just fine.
“But if that’s true, where is Marcus?
“Imogen becomes locked in a race against time to find the missing child and uncover the truth. Can she discover what’s happened to Marcus before it’s too late?”
So, which one will it be, book clubbers?
