As COVID surges across Texas, major retailers mandate face masks for shoppers.
Walmart is among the growing number of retailers requiring its customers to wear face masks.
The Husband and I were in Stephenville’s Walmart a few days ago and noticed some big changes in the way customers are allowed to enter the building.
Customers can only enter through one door (the side closest to the garden center was closed) and through a cordoned off line that allows employees to make sure that masks are being worn.
The new rules didn’t slow us down and employees were quick to get us into the store safely and efficiently.
Other national retailers requiring facemasks include HEB, Costco, Apple Store, Dollar Tree, Verizon, Starbucks and AT&T.
CVS and Walgreens are “encouraging” customers to wear face masks.
