I know. I can hardly believe it either, but it’s happening people.

Old Navy is coming to Stephenville!

“We are pleased to welcome the addition of Old Navy to our growing list of outstanding brands coming to Stephenville’s Washington Commons Shopping Center,” said Jeff Sandford, executive director of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority, who recruited the project.

“Our development team, including STX Washington Partners, LLC, has worked diligently to keep their commitment to Stephenville despite some challenging times. With more than a quarter century of growth across the U.S. and beyond, Old Navy provides a stellar product mix which complements the city’s existing soft goods inventory.”

Washington Commons is the largest retail development project in the city’s history and will include 150,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

It’s expected to open in the first quarter of 2022.

Old Navy now joins the ranks of other national retailers like T.J. Maxx, Hobby Lobby, Ulta Beauty and Five Below that have signed contracts to open in the city’s new power center, which broke ground last month next to Walmart on Washington Street.
