Abbott to unveil "massive" plan to re-open. And yes, that includes salons and restaurants.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has indicated he is ready to seriously begin dialing back stay-at-home orders.

Abbott is expected to unveil a new executive order as early as today (Friday) or Monday outlining a plan to reopen what he is calling a “massive amount” of businesses that could include movie theaters, hair salons, dine-in restaurants and churches.

Abbott said the death rate from COVID-19 in Texas continues to decline and that Texas ranks two for the number of people who have recovered from the virus.

Abbott’s new order will automatically take immediate effect in Stephenville.
