A fun-filled Saturday: Santa is on his way and so is the city’s first-ever lighted Christmas parade.

Stephenville’s first-ever lighted Christmas parade is just days away and this is one event you don’t want to miss.

Here’s the scoop on the ChristmasVille Light up Stephenville Parade:

WHERE, WHAT, WHEN: The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and will be centered in downtown Stephenville (the route will NOT be the same as the annual Fourth of July parade).

You will want to be on Belknap, Barton or Green to see it!

MORE FUN THAN YOU CAN HANDLE

Immediately following the parade, there will be a rooftop fireworks show followed by the official lighting of the city’s Christmas tree on the downtown plaza. (Santa is doing the honor!)

There will also be snacks and hot chocolate for sale.

Be sure to give a big thanks to the two Julies who have put this great event together – Julie Lowrance, owner of Frames Etc, and Julie Crouch Smith, the city’s manager of the Tourism and Visitors Bureau.

We appreciate you ladies!
