A carb-friendly, protein-packed pizza bowl? Yes, please.

If you are on a low carb, high protein journey, this recipe for a pizza bowl is for you.

 

This “un-crusted” pizza is a family-friendly meal even the kids will love!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED

 

1 cup cottage cheese

 

½ shredded mozzarella cheese (reserve some for topping)

 

¼ cup parmesan cheese

 

½ low carb marinara sauce

 

1 tsp Italian seasoning



½ tsp garlic powder

 

Pinch red pepper flakes

 

½ cup diced bell pepper

 

¼ black olives

 

¼ minced onion

 

½ cup cooked Italian sausage or turkey pepperoni

 

Fresh basil

 


HOW TO MAKE IT

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

 

Mix cheeses and seasonings in bowl and spread mixture into oven proof dish.

 

Top with marinara, mozzarella cheese, veggies and meat.

 

Bake until melted and golden brown, 25-30 minutes.
