A blast of cold weather forces Chamber to reschedule its annual Safe Trick ‘R Treat event.

Mother Nature’s plan for a blast of cold air is coming at a bad time: Halloween.

So now, the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its annual Safe Trick ‘R Treat event from Monday to Thursday, Nov. 2.

Kids can dress up and visit candy stations and take part in games and activities in the Fun Zone from 4-7 p.m. at Stephenville City Park.

There will also be a costume contest for various age groups.

Prizes will be awarded for funniest, cutest, scariest, most creative and best homemade costume.
