The race for Erath County tax assessor and commissioner of precinct 3 is down to a runoff.
The Cross Timbers Republican Women is giving residents a final chance to hear from the four candidates running for the positions with a forum from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, at City Hall at City Limits in Stephenville.
Voters will hear from Nikki Cogburn and Valerie Stephen, candidates for tax assessor, and Sherman Edwards and Ben Clements, candidates for commissioner.
Tickets, which include lunch, can be purchased here.
Early voting will be held Monday, May 20, through Friday, May, 24.
Election Day is Tuesday, May 28.
