Zuko and Katara

Zuko and Katara are two playful kittens up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

“They are the cutest, sweetest kittens you will ever meet,” said ECHS executive director Serena Wright. “They love climbing and playing with toys.”

Wright said the kittens do not have to be adopted together.

Dylan is a two to three-year-old Great Dane.

“He is a sweet boy that needs lots of love and attention,” Wright said. “He is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. He is also dog-friendly and house-trained.

“We are taking applications on him.”

The animal shelter got some relief recently from Hounds Rescue in Fort Worth.

“They pulled 17 dogs and three cats from us on Sunday,” Wright said. “They transported animals to Colorado, Illinois and some other states.

“We also had two go to Texas Cattle Dog Rescue.”

You can meet Zuko, Katara and Dylan by stopping by the Erath County Humane Society at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
