Rain is on the way, but don’t let that dampen your weekend fun (pun intended).
While forecasters say Erath County is set up for a soaker, there are a few fun things happening in the area that will keep you dry and entertained.
DUBLIN FFA PLANT SALE
The Dublin FFA plant sale is kicking off a day early so plant lovers can shop before the weather hits.
The three-day event will take place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, April 10, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, and noon-4 p.m. Sunday at the Dublin High School greenhouse.
There will be a variety of flowers, native plants, fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables and hanging plants.
Cards and cash will be accepted.

MAC AND CHEESE COOK-OFF
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County is hosting its third annual mac and cheese cook-off at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery.
Tickets are $10 each and allows attendees to sample all of the mac and cheese.
The event will take place under tents.
KEYS FOR A CAUSE: DUELING PIANOS
Restoration Advocates is hosting a high-energy event to raise money for Restoration Place, which provides emergency housing for women and children escaping domestic abuse.
Keys for a Cause; Dueling Pianos will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Rancho El Burro in Stephenville.
General admission tickets, which include a fajita dinner and show, are $75 and can be purchased at the door.
