Three teenagers were arrested Thursday morning, accused of shooting up an occupied home in Lingleville on Feb. 24.
Captain Ben Moore with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office said two of the suspects – 18-year-old Eyli Cayden Mendez of Stephenville and 17-year-old Marcus Valle of Dublin – are being held at the Erath County Jail awaiting arraignment.
The third suspect is a juvenile from De Leon and has been released to his parents.
Moore said the incident was first reported to the ECSO about 2 a.m. on Feb. 24.
The caller told authorities that several shots had been fired into a residence located in the 20700 block of FM 219 north near the Lingleville School.
No one inside the residence was injured.
The suspects were identified after authorities interviewed witnesses and the victims and were detained in the suspect vehicle before Thursday's arrest.
During that detention, authorities seized several firearms.
A warrant for the suspects was issued on Wednesday and they were taken into custody at an apartment on Thursday morning.
The teens have been charged with deadly conduct and are being held on a $150,000 bond.
