There are now more recoveries than active cases of COVID in Erath County. Here’s the latest.

Five new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Erath County on Saturday; one in the county and two in Dublin and Stephenville.

But here’s the good news: County officials are now reporting 97 active cases and 270 recoveries.

Sadly, there have been four deaths connected to the virus and 14 hospitalizations in Stephenville.

The largest group of people (110) who have tested positive for the virus are between the ages of 20 to 29 years old.

There has been a total of 371 residents diagnosed since the pandemic began; 200 females and 171 males.
