SISD board of trustees seeks input from community on search for next superintendent.

As the Stephenville Independent School District’s board of trustees works with the Texas Association of School Boards to find its next superintendent, community members are invited to give input in the selection process.
“The board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the board should seek to become the new superintendent,” Kathy Hampton, SISD’s executive director of HR and student services, told Beneath the Surface News.

Kelly Magin is serving as the district’s interim superintendent following the resignation of former superintendent Matt Underwood.
The board hopes to name its next superintendent by December.
