For over 30 years, I have known Lonn Reisman as the Vice President/Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Tarleton.

Lonn was determined to build a bridge between the university and the citizens of Stephenville and did an excellent job of bringing us all together.

I had the privilege to work alongside of Lonn with other Stephenville community members to help support projects I feel helped the city.

One of the projects Lonn brought to Stephenville was High School Playoff games that brought thousands of fans to visit the city. Lonn knew this project would support the Stephenville economy.

Lonn was determined to get the businesses and Stephenville citizens to support the student-athletes in competition, but also to graduate and become productive citizens.

Lonn is a strategic plan specialist that with his vision, which includes community input, will help Stephenville make the correct decisions for the future.

Lonn’s accomplishments over the past 36 years of his tenure at the university may never be equaled.

When Lonn decided it was time to retire, his focus was to give 100% of his time to serving the citizens of Stephenville, Erath County and Stephenville ISD.

He has served for the last three years on the Stephenville City Council and would love to serve the citizens as their mayor of Stephenville and bring his leadership, work ethic, energy - and most importantly - his vision to the city.

In closing, Lonn is a man of character who is a role model for the city of Stephenville.

Therefore, I wholeheartedly support Lonn Reisman in the race for mayor and ask the voting citizens of Stephenville to help Lonn to reach his goal of becoming the mayor of Stephenville.
