Moo-La shows support for the Yellow Jackets as the football program marches its way to state.

Sleigh bells aren’t the only thing ringing this time of year; cowbells are expected to get really loud on Friday when the Stephenville Yellow Jackets take on Wichita Falls Hirschi at 7 p.m. at Ford Center in Frisco.

The community is gearing up to watch the Yellow Jackets continue their march to state, and was originally told that those famous cans would have to stay behind.

(That’s why Moo-La began wearing the cowbell.)

But there’s good news!

According to the SHS official Facebook page, fans will now be allowed to bring small, handheld cans into the stadium. (But leave the large propane tanks at home.)

SISD will have a two-hour early release on Friday so that everyone has plenty of time to get to the game.

I remember when our boys were Yellow Jackets and how exciting those playoff games were.

This time of the year brings back all the feels.

Good luck Jackets!
