It’s time to register your team for the 10th annual ‘Toys Fore Kids’ golf tourney.
The 10th annual Toys Fore Kids golf tournament and fundraiser is just around the corner and it’s time to get your team together.
The unique event, sponsored by the Men’s Golf Association, pairs golfing with giving and is just what you need to get into the holiday spirit.
“I am proud to say that in the past 10 years we have donated a little more than $45,000 to the Optimist Club and local angel tree projects, with just over $27,000 of that coming in just the last three years,” said Jason Smith, who heads up the event.
The golf tournament begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, at Legends Country Club.
Here are the details: The cost to enter the 4-person scramble is a $25 new, unwrapped toy (per person). Cart rental is $10.
The registration deadline is Friday, Nov. 11.
All toys will be distributed to children in Erath County before Christmas.
