Erath County grand jury indicts 14, including man with history of family violence.

An Erath County grand jury has indicted 14 individuals on a variety of charges ranging from possession and driving while intoxicated to failure to register as a sex offender.

 

Forty-seven-year-old Timothy William Kennedy was indicted for assault (family violence) with previous conviction, a third degree felony.


According to Erath County jail records, Kennedy was arrested on Nov. 11, 2023 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, drug possession and violating a protective order.

 

He is being held on a $180,000 bond.

 

Kennedy was also arrested by the Stephenville Police Department in 2022 on two separate occasions and charged with making a terroristic threat and assault.

Santana Ray Castillo, DWI (third or more offense), a third degree felony.

 


John Paul Cockerell for possession of a substance, a state jail felony.

 

Lyndon Kale Coker for theft of property, a state jail felony.

 

Santos Delagarza for DWI (third or more offense), a third degree felony.

 

Hayden Hargis Hunt for DWI (third or more offense), a third degree felony.

Levi Cody Kelley for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony.

 

Carlos Manzano for evading arrest or detention with previous conviction, a state jail felony.

 

Brianna Lee Mercer for possession of a substance, a state jail felony.

 

Amado Vasquez-Tapia for possession of a substance, a state jail felony.

 

Timothy James Wilson for possession of a substance, a state jail felony.
