County to keep close eye on COVID cases with return of mobile testing.

Erath County is continuing to monitor the possible spread of COVID-19 as more businesses begin to re-open.

There are currently two cases of coronavirus in the county. One man succumbed to the virus and 10 others have recovered.

A mobile testing site will return to Stephenville offering free testing to residents showing symptoms.

Symptoms include fever, fatigue, dry cough, body aches, shortness of breath, mucus or phlegm, sore throat, headache, chills, nausea or diarrhea.

Testing will take place from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church located at 950 Glen Rose Hwy.

To schedule an appointment, patients must call 512-883-2400 48 hours in advance.
