Residents will get a chance to hear from candidates running for Stephenville City Council and the Stephenville ISD board of trustees when Erath County Republican Women hosts a forum at noon on Thursday, March 17, at City Hall at City Limits.
The event will feature candidates running in three contested races, which include Stephenville mayor between incumbent Doug Svien and challenger Brady Pendleton; Stephenville City Council place 6 between David Baskett and Dean Parr; and Stephenville ISD place 4 between Luke Sims and Amauri Martinez.
Each candidate will be given two minutes to introduce themselves and will then answer questions from a committee.

Early voting in the May 7 election will be held from April 25 through May 2.
